Boots

The first post!! Well it may not be that exciting of a subject, but since I'm going to Canada in the middle of winter (I know, I know, everyone says it's a bad idea) I need to equip myself accordingly. And by that I don't mean just bringing a map and learning to say abooooot...I mean snow boots and long johns! So, I've been looking around online while having no idea what I'm looking for. No, I'm not one of those people who have never seen snow..like that ONE friend you have, and you look at them like a little child and say "there, there...you don't know what you've been missing." I live near enough to Lake Tahoe (which is the best snowboard/ski area in California) to have been many a time, I actually consider myself somewhat of a good snowboarder. And I even had a pair of knock-off Ugg boots that I used to wear tramping outside of a cabin or two. BUT, they now leak, and I figured if I'm gonna buy snow boots...I gotta go legit! Go big or go home right? So I found these bad boys.

Then I asked my friend Vanessa who I'm visiting in Toronto, and she said they have boots on sale there in February. Sweet. Guess I'll wait til then.
